Villa Layang
Tabú Design was commissioned to furnish Villa Layang, a 650 sqm luxury eco-villa perched high above Tampah Beach on the southern coast of Lombok. The villa combines comfort with elegance, designed to embrace its panoramic ocean views and tranquil natural surroundings.
Tabú Design delivered a complete package of bespoke furniture, including both fixed and loose pieces for the villa’s indoor and outdoor living spaces. Each element was developed to enhance the calm architectural rhythm, using natural materials and finishes that blend with its environment.
- Fixed Furniture: Custom bathroom vanities, kitchen units, wardrobes, living area shelving and wood panelling, including a feature bar clad in timber.
- Loose Furniture: Indoor sofa, coffee tables and side tables, shelves, TV cabinet and a full range of outdoor furniture including lounge chairs, sun loungers and sofas designed for coastal durability.
From the design phase to final detailing, we worked closely with the project team to align every piece with the architecture and tropical context. All furniture was crafted in our factory with attention to proportions and texture, built to last and installed on site by our in-house team, merging craftsmanship with the villa’s eco-conscious design ethos. The result is a warm and elegant residence connected to nature.
