Villa Akara
Tabú Design was commissioned to support a light renovation of Villa Akara, located in the heart of Seminyak, Bali, to create functional pieces that feel naturally integrated in a clean and comfortable environment. With open-plan spaces that flow between indoor and outdoor areas, the villa captures the spirit of Bali elegance and lifestyle.
Tabú Design furnished the villa’s main living and relaxing areas, providing custom-built and loose furniture suited to the existing architecture.
- Fixed furniture: A new custom kitchen designed for flow and functionality, built-in wardrobes and bathroom vanities.
- Loose furniture: Furnishings for bedrooms, living areas as well as indoor and outdoor lounge pieces.
Working closely with the client, we developed a simple and collaborative process, selecting materials and finishes in harmony with the existing structure and layout.
The completed Villa Akara feels fresh, comfortable and functional preserving the villa’s natural character.
