Villa Salt

Tabú Design was commissioned to furnish both interior and exterior spaces of Villa Salt, a modern tropical residence set against the coastal backdrop of Canggu, Bali. Working closely with Studio Anso, we ensured every furniture element complemented the architectural vision with warmth, function and refined simplicity.

We crafted a complete fixed and loose furniture package, blending clean forms with natural materials and thoughtful details.

Fixed furniture: Kitchen cabinetry, wardrobes, bathroom vanities and built-in elements across bedrooms and living areas.
Loose furniture: Sofas, dining sets and a custom outdoor lounge area.

Feature piece: A bespoke bar area developed in collaboration with Lava Stone, serving as a visual and social centrepiece of the home and reflecting our ability to turn custom ideas into durable and functional pieces.

Tabú Design’s integrated approach began by translating the architectural drawings into precise technical designs, followed by on-site measurements to ensure accuracy across the built-in elements. Material and finishes were selected to suit the tropical climate and functional requirements. All furniture was crafted in-house, with final quality checks completed before delivery and installation on site.

Villa Salt reflects a seamless dialogue between architecture, design and craftsmanship, resulting in a contemporary yet grounded home suited for tropical living.
